Late, and maybe misfiled Pizza

Ha.  I have made pizza number of times, and typically I am pretty enthused about it.  Just ask me!  Or, say nothng, and I will start to brag about it naturally, given an audience and enough time.

Not this time.

I was without my pizza stone, recipes, etc.  I need to have "all my things about me".  (Gotta love Maureen O'Hara)

But I made it anyway, and the results were, well, better than store-bought, but certainly not what I would be proud of.  So under Paul's new theme of blogging about the not-so-perfect projects, here we go.

Mistakes:  1)  Not giving it enough time.  2) Using sourdough starter.   3) Not having the 'mis en place'.  4) Not using a stone.  5)  Not knowing the oven.

This yielded two pizzas that were doughy, not quite cooked on the bottom, and maybe a little overcooked on the top.

But here is the really sick part:  We ate it anyway!   :whistle:

 Thanks for sharing your less-than-stellar-pizza.  But can you tell me why the sourdough was a mistake?
