Jacqueline's Sesame Breadsticks

A bit late but at least it's still 2011. I made these for the after-party of the concert of a choir I sing with. In line with everybody else's comments, these are so simple yet so crunchy and delicious. As ever, I had trouble with shaping - I tried to flatten out the dough and cut it into strips with a knife, but in the end I think it would've been easier to divide into little balls and then roll into snakes and Hamelman suggests. Whatever the shape though, they taste great.

They look a lot like mine did last time I made these. Mine usually end up getting longer and longer and being turned into shepherds' crooks. I wonder if cutting the dough with a pizza wheel would work?
