Dan's White Sourdough

Technically I'm jumping the gun with this one, but on the other hand, it felt sensible to make a white sourdough to compare with my yeasted whites, as it would teach me about my starter and my sourdough "technique". I was pleased with the results; a step forward in terms of the crumb of m...

Re: Autolyse's Raisin and Cinnamon Loaf

Nice save! Your post made me smile, I know that feeling of trying to snatch baking victory from the jaws of doughy-defeat. End result doesn't betray the difficulties you had... Bravo!

Re: Mal's Asace loaf with rye

I'll keep an eye on your blog; the sprouted grains sound like a nice addition. Lovely looking loaves as well. I'm a little nervous of fitting them on my oven stone, or even in my oven!

Re: Will's Belated Buttery Buns

Thanks guys! My girlfriend and I were really taken with them, and I could hardly believe how well they turned out. Will definitely be starting them two days before the day I want to eat them for breakfast next time though!

Will's Belated Buttery Buns

Part 1 of Will's big baking catch-up drive June 2012... Had to wait for an appropriate occasion to make anything this buttery... But they were well worth the wait! I was really pleased at how they came out. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7228/7159127461_c4a4fec21a.jpg Buttery Buns by Leavened Heaven ...

Re: Our daily bread

I've been enjoying these, and I'm just catching up on the last of them as I type. Thanks for the heads up, has anyone else been listening?
