Ulrike's beer bread with Flensburger Pilsener
« on: June 18, 2010, 07:04:51 AM »
My post is up, here's the google translation.

I made my own malt from huskless barley and roasted it.

And living in Northern Germany I used beer from Germany's northernmost brewery

With both I ended with this bread, crispy crust, elastic crumb and a hint of beer flavour

That looks like a delicious loaf of bread.  Good job roasting your own barley.

That looks like a seriously good loaf Ulrike!  pompom And so different from the ones made with dark beer. A bread of infinite variety I think this one is going to turn out to be  :D
